Homemade Orange Chicken

This orange chicken is packed with flavor. Perfect as a main course or side dish. Juicy, tender, and sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

  • 18 Chicken Nuggets

  • ¼ cup Orange Marmalade (I use the no added sugar version)

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 3 tbsp of soy sauce, barbeque sauce, rice wine vinegar, and oyster sauce each.

  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar (optional, to taste)

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • ½ tbsp minced ginger

  • Cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp of cornstarch + water)

Directions

  • 1) Add all ingredients minus the cornstarch slurry to the pan.

    2) Heat for 3 minutes and add in the cornstarch slurry.

    3) Once the sauce begins to bubble, reduce the heat and continue stirring. You’ll notice the sauce begins to thicken.

    4) Remove from heat, toss in chicken breast nuggets and sauce is ready to serve over rice with steamed vegetables, and dinner is served!
