Fresh Rosemary Chicken

Ingredients

  • 6 {Foster Farms Fresh & Natural Boneless Skinless Thigh Fillets}

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/4 cup dry red wine

  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped or 1/2 teaspoon dried

  • 1 teaspoon fresh sage, chopped or 1/2 teaspoon dried

  • 1 tablespoon minced shallot or green onion

  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon white or black pepper

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. In medium stainless steel or glass bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients. Set aside.

    2. Spray shallow glass or enameled baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place frozen thighs in single layer in prepared dish. Pour rosemary-wine mixture over chicken, and cover tightly with foil. Bake 30 minutes. Remove foil and turn thighs.

    3. Continue to bake uncovered, basting several times for 20 to 25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove thighs to warm platter. Reduce pan juices, if desired, and pour over chicken.

COOK TO A SAFE INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF AT LEAST 165°F. ALWAYS use a meat thermometer to determine the temperature. Do not rely solely on suggested cooking times. Cooking appliances vary in temperature and cooking times are a GUIDE ONLY.
