Shawarma Wraps

These Shawarma Wraps are filled with juicy chicken and the perfect amount of spice to make for the perfect lunch, dinner, or snack to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

  • 2 lbs Foster Farms Free Range Simply Raised Chicken Breast Fillets

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp 7 spice

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1tsp sumac

  • 1 ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)


  • Sauce

  • If you can’t find toum which is authentic to this recipe, you can always improvise by mixing minced garlic and a pinch of salt with some plain greek yogurt.

Directions

  • 1) In a small bowl, evenly coat chicken with oil.

    2) Arrange coated nuggets on your air fryer's crisper tray, making sure they are not touching. Cook 14 minutes at 400F. Remove from airfryer. The nuggets should be partially cooked.

    3) Set out 2 small bowls. In one bowl, whisk the egg. In the second bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese with ranch powder seasoning.

    4) One at a time, dip the partially cooked nuggets into the egg mixture, shake off excess, then roll in the cheese mixture to coat evenly.

    5) Return breaded nuggets to the crisper tray, making sure they are not touching. Cook 5 minutes at 400F.

    6) In a small bowl, combine all ingredients to make the dipping sauce and stir until blended. Divide into 2 small serving bowls.

    7) Remove nuggets from the air fryer and divide between two serving plates. Serve warm with a bowl of dipping sauce on each plate.
