Ingredients

  • Ground Turkey:

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey 93% Lean


  • Sauce:

  • 1 1/2 cups Oyster or Stir-fry sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar (can also use apple cider or white wine vinegars)

  • Sambal to taste


  • Green Beans:

  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil - Canola, Safflower, Corn, Peanut, etc.

  • 1 Small Red Onion, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 8 Ounces Carrots, shredded

  • 8 Ounces Mushrooms, buttons, sliced

  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Minced galic

  • 8 Sprigs Fresh Cilantro Sprigs

Directions

  • To Cook Turkey:
    In a non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot. Add turkey and allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then break into crumbles using a wooden spoon. Continue cooking and crumbling for another 5 minutes, or until there is no visible pink and the turkey crumbles are 165F (tested with an instant read thermometer.

    To Make Sauce:
    Pour 1 ½ cups of Oyster or Stir-Fry Sauce into a 2-cup measuring cup. Stir in vinegar, and sambal to taste (be careful it’s spicy).

    To Cook Green Beans:
    1) Fill a large non-stick skillet half full of water. Bring to a boil, add green beans and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until bright green. Drain off the water but keep the green beans in the skillet. Turn the heat to high. Add the oil and remaining ingredients (except garlic and cilantro) and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often. Add the garlic, stir, and cook another 3 to 5 minutes.
    2) Add sauce and ground turkey, stir to combine.

    To Serve:
    Using tongs, divide the green beans onto 4 plates. Using a spoon, spoon the turkey and vegetable mixture over the top of the green beans. Garnish with cilantro sprigs.
