2. Arrange the bruschetta on a parchment-lined sheet pan and sprinkle generously with Gruyère cheese. Bake the bruschetta in the oven until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.

3. Remove the bruschetta from the oven, transfer to a serving plate, and finish with a nice sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper. Enjoy while warm!
